Mouth Cancer Awareness Month

November is Mouth Cancer Awareness Month.

You may / may not be aware but at your check ups your dentist will routinely be checking for signs of mouth cancer

Anyone can be affected by mouth cancer. The most common causes are linked to tobacco and alcohol.

Relocation

As you may be aware by now we have relocated from Bourne Road into our newly refurbished premises in Thanet Road.

Since the move in February we have been busy with inspections by the CQC and NHS England, both of which we passed with flying colours.

We have seen a record number of new patients and it has been nice to see some of our regular patients in our new premises.

We also welcome Amanda back to the practice, some of you may remember her as a dental nurse but she has recently qualified as a hygienist/therapist and has rejoined us for one day a week.
